Blackwater Hostel and Campsite
Welcome to Blackwater Hostel and campsite near Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands. The ideal choice for couples, families, groups and individuals, Blackwater Hostel offers four star accommodation and has 39 beds in 10 en-suite rooms. The campsite has 30 camping pitches and is situated in the centre of Kinlochleven on the West Highland Way.
The Hostel is in an ideal location whether you come for walking, climbing, winter ski-ing, fishing, mountain biking wildlife, canoeing, golfing, photography or just to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
The hostel is in a perfect location - Lochaber is The Outdoor Capital of the Uk - for touring the Highlands, Ben Nevis, Aonach Mhor, Isle of Mull, Isle of Skye, Oban, Inverness, Loch Ness, Jacobite steam train to Mallaig, the Road to the Isles, Ardnamurchan peninsula and Neptune's Staircase on the Caledonian Canal.
We also have a self-catering chalet, with short breaks (3 nights £150 4 nights £200) available from October to the end of March, excluding Xmas and New Year
Further hostel accommodation is available in our West Highland Lodge, which sleeps 32 people in 8 rooms of 4 each (rooms in West Highland Lodge are not en-suite). NB. The West Highland lodge is only open when the Blackwater hostel is full or there are not enough beds available at the hostel to accommodate groups, or if a group wants sole occupancy of the West Highland Lodge.
